Rhubarb Raspberry crisp

Hi everyone! I am sorry that I have not been posting much lately. Not only have I been super busy with school, I have also been working on setting up my YouTube channel. Which now means I can post videos on here to!

So, as we are getting into the month of October, I was going to do a lot of Fall themed desserts on this blog and on my YouTube channel. Also, I wanted to mention, as we get closer to Halloween I wanted to do some Halloween themed food tutorials. But anyway, today I am going to be showing and telling you how to make Rhubarb Raspberry crisp ( scroll down for the video ).

Ingredients


  • 1 C. oats
  • 1/2 C. flour
  • 1/2 C. brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp ginger
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1/2 C. butter ( one stick )
  • 4. C. Rhubarb
  • 1 container of raspberry’s
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 3/4 C. white sugar

Instructions


Preheat you oven to 350F. Next, take the first 7 ingredients and mix them all together with your clean hands until you have a fine crumbly mixture, set aside. Now take your rhubarb and raspberry’s and coat them in the cornstarch and white sugar, take this mixture and pour it into a lightly greased glass pan. Take your crumble mixture and pour it on top of the fruits, bake this for 45 minutes or until the top is golden brown and it is bubbling. Enjoy ( it tastes really good with some ice cream! )!
