Hello everyone! I am posting this because this past weekend I made about some of the best cinnamon rolls ever. And I want to give credit to this site: https://www.tasteofhome.com/recipes/best-cinnamon-rolls/. I did substitute a few things but they turned out wonderful, and were gone in two days! So if your ever in a mood for some cinnamon rolls, you should check out this recipe. 🙂

Griddled Peaches & Yogurt Dip

Snacks

These griddled peaches are a great snack for party’s, and also good for dessert. To make the peaches more yummy you can make this yogurt dip along with them.

Ingredients                      Makes: 4-6


  1. 4-6 peaches
  2. 2-4 T. sugar
  3. 1 tsp cinnamon
  4. 1- 1 1/2 C. Greek yogurt
  5. 2-4 T. honey

 

Instructions


Cut all of your peaches in half and take the pits out, in a large bowl put in the sugar and cinnamon mix in the peaches and get the sugar all over them. Preheat your griddle pan, and place the peaches in flesh side down. Cook for about 2-3 and flip over, cook until caramelized. While the peaches are cooking, take the yogurt and put it in a medium bowl, mix in the honey. Put your peaches in a bowl or on a plate, and you can dip the peaches in the yogurt honey dip. Enjoy!

Note: Should be eaten right away but can be stored in the fridge up to 4-5 days.

Love potion/ Smoothie

Drink

This is a very healthy smoothie and it has tons of vitamin C. I call it the love potion because I made it on valentines day! 🙂

Instructions                           Makes:2-3 Ball jars


  • 1 C. strawberry’s
  • 1/2 C. blueberry’s
  • 1 large banana
  • 3/4-1 C. OJ
  • 2 T. honey  

Theses ingredients can be frozen or not.

Instructions


 Take all of your ingredients and put them in the blender. Blend until smooth. Pour into cups, and serve with a fresh strawberry. It’s easy! Enjoy!

Note: Should drink right away. 🙂

Marshmallow pops

These pop’s are super fast and easy to make, and they are SO very delicious, I could not stop eating them! They are also a no bake dessert.

Ingredients                          Makes: 20


  • 20 marshmallows
  • 20 lollipop sticks
  • 3/4 to 1 C. chocolate chips
  • Sprinkles ( as many as you want )
  • optional  1/4 C. caramel

 

Instructions


Cover a cookie sheet in parchment paper, on it line the marshmallows up and then stick a lollipop stick in each of them. Melt the chocolate in the microwave until melted and smooth. Fill a bowl with sprinkles, if using, fill a bowl with the caramel. Dip each pop in chocolate/caramel and then in sprinkles, place back on cookie sheet. Once all are dipped place in the freezer for about 15 minutes or until frozen. Take out of the freezer and wait to thaw a bit before eating. Enjoy! 🙂

Note: Can store in the refrigerator or on the counter.

The best chocolate chip cookies

The title above dose not lie! I am sharing this recipe with yoptoday because these cookies are to die for ( so good! ), and they are quick and easy to make!

Ingredients                          Makes: 2 dozen  


  1. 1/2 C. butter
  2. 1/2 C. shortening
  3. 1/2 C. brown sugar
  4. 1/2 C .cane sugar
  5. 2 eggs
  6. 1 tsp baking powder
  7. 1 tsp baking soda
  8. 1 tsp vanilla
  9. 1/2 tsp salt
  10. 2 C. flour or GF flour
  11. 1-1/2 chocolate chips

 

Instructions


Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a stand mixer beat together the butter and the shortening, next add the sugars. beat in the eggs. Add the baking powder, soda, vanilla, and salt. Mix in the flour, the batter should be dough like and some what sticky. Cover two cookies sheets with parchment paper. Take a spoonful of the dough and roll it into a ball, put on cookie sheet and then bake for 9-10 minutes. Let cool and enjoy!

Note: Can be stored in an container out on the counter for about a week. Sometimes instead of chocolate chips I use salted caramel chips, and they taste absolutely delicious in the cookies!

Pumpkin waffles

I chose to share this recipe with you today because it’s one of my favorite waffle recipes, it’s also easy to make, and they are super delicious! Theses are definitely my go to breakfast.

Instructions                    Makes: About 4-5 waffles


  1. 3/4 C. pumpkin puree
  2. 2 eggs
  3. 1 C. milk
  4. 1 1/2 C. GF Flour
  5. 2 tsp. pumpkin spice
  6. 2 tsp baking powder
  7. 1/2 tsp baking soda

 

Instructions


In one blow whisk together the wet ingredients. In another blow sift the dry ingredients. Combine ingredients in the food possessor, plus until there are no more clumps. Preheat your waffle iron, and cook until desired hardness.

Note: Very good with maple or choke cheery syrup.

Sliced Sweet Baked Potatoes

I chose to share this recipe with you because one, these are a really good and healthy snack, and two they are really easy to and fun to make!

Ingredients               Sevres: About four People 


  1. Two sweet potatoes
  2. 1 Tbsp olive oil
  3. Two Tbsp. butter ( melted )
  4. Some black pepper

 

Instructions


Preheat the oven to 425 F, Slice the potatoes into thin slices, put in small oven safe pot, spread the olive oil, butter, and black pepper all over them. Bake for about 45 minutes or until tender and crisp. Enjoy!

Note: You can also use white potatoes.

Banochocolate Cookies

I chose theses cookies to share with you today because they are easy and fu to make and they can be Gluten and Dairy free!

Ingredients              Makes: About one dozen


  1. 1 banana
  2. 8 Tbsp butter
  3. 2/3 C. brown sugar
  4. 1 egg
  5. 1 C. of four or GF flour
  6. 1/2 tsp baking powder
  7. 1/3 C. oats
  8. 1 C. chocolate chips

 

Instructions


Preheat the oven to 350 F, line two cookie sheets. Place the banana, butter, sugar, and egg in the food processor, process until smooth, add flour, baking powder, and oats. Pulse util combined. Transfer batter to bowl and stir in chocolate chips. Drop spoonfuls of the batter on to the cookie sheets. Bake for 15 mins, let cool and Enjoy!

Jumping Jello Salad

Ingredients              Serves: 5-6 people


  1. 2 C. Any fruit chopped
  2. 1 1/2 C. Whipped cream
  3. 1 C. Mini marshmallows
  4. 1 Packet of jello ( any kind )

 

Instructions


Mix the chopped fruit and whipped cream together, add marshmallows. Pour jello over the top and stir in. Refrigerate for about one hour. Serve fresh. Enjoy!

Melting Moment Cookies

Ingredients             Makes: 2 Dozen


  1. 1 C. Butter
  2. 1 C. Flour
  3.  1/2 C. Powdered sugar
  4. 3/4 Cornstarch

 

Instructions


Preheat oven to 300 F. Cream all the ingredients together, beat until sticky. Drop onto prepared cookie sheets. Bake 18-20 minutes, cool and place on baking racks. Enjoy!
